Potato wafers processing line provides complete system from raw potatoes to packed wafers with excellent quality and low content of oil. Line is completely/ fully automation based.
Raw potatoes primarily enter at receiving station of plant. Unwanted potatoes are removed by using sorting conveyor. Potatoes are further passed into washer with control feed rate for removing sand, impurities, etc. Washed potatoes are peeled using peeling machine without damaging potatoes. Then washed potatoes are sliced using slicer machine according to required thickness. This slice is then washed with clean water in order to further remove impurities. Slices are then thermally treated using blanching operation for killing micro-organisms. Then blanched slices are further dried, fried using subsequent machines. Dried chips are flavoured and packed for use.
Customized design of complete potato processing line can be designed according to requirement.
